Privacy Statement of the Medicare Rights Center

Thank you for visiting our Web site (the "Medicare Interactive Site").Protecting your privacy is very important to the Medicare Rights Center ("MRC", "we", "us" or "our"). To better protect you, we provide this statement explaining our online information practices and the ways you can help us to protect your privacy. We hope this statement will help you understand how MRC collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide on the Medicare Interactive Site.

Information Collection and Use

You may use portions of the Medicare Interactive Site without registering with us. In that case, we automatically receive and may record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, MRC cookie information, and the page you request. We may use this type of information to customize your use of the Medicare Interactive Site. You do, however, need to register with us to use certain portions of the Medicare Interactive Site. When you register, in addition to the information discussed above, we also collect certain personally identifiable information such as your name and e-mail address. We use this information to respond to your questions. We may also use it to provide you with information about the resources and services available through the Medicare Interactive Site and to request your participation in any anonymous surveys we may conduct. Protecting Your Information

Please remember, however, that any information, including personally identifiable information, that you post in the publicly accessible areas of the Medicare Interactive Site (such as message boards and chat rooms) is not covered by this Privacy Statement. Such postings will be seen by other users of those areas of the Medicare Interactive Site. What you post could be used by others in ways that MRC cannot predict or control. Therefore, we recommend that you do not post any personally identifiable information in the publicly accessible areas of the Medicare Interactive Site. If you access non-MRC Web sites via links on the Medicare Interactive Site, any information that you provide to those Web sites is not subject to this Privacy Statement. We recommend that you review the privacy statements of each Web site that you visit.
