In particular, this course provides important information on one of the Affordable Care Act’s most sweeping changes to the U.S. health care system: the creation of the Health Insurance Marketplaces, also known as Exchanges. In this course, you will become familiar with Affordable Care Act provisions that have benefited individuals with Medicare, and learn how the Marketplaces affect individuals who already have Medicare, as well as individuals who will soon become eligible for Medicare.
