Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a program available in some states to people with Medicare and Medicaid who need a nursing home level of care. It provides comprehensive medical and social services to help people live in the community instead of going to a facility. To qualify for PACE, individuals must be age 55 or older, certified by their state to need a nursing home level of care, able to live safely in the community, and living in a PACE service area.
